What are 4x4 PTFE sheets?
4x4 PTFE sheets are small, pre-cut squares of PTFE film used to hold, wrap, store and transfer sticky concentrates. At four inches by four inches, they’re sized for single portions: a sheet goes into a jar, wraps a slab, or sits under product on a scale or work surface.
They’re different from the large sheets used inside a rosin press. Pressing sheets are cut to fit press plates and take heat and pressure during extraction; 4x4 squares are packaging and handling sheets used after the product is made. Why PTFE works for concentrates
- Non-stick. Wax, shatter, badder and rosin peel off cleanly, so less product is lost on the sheet.
- Chemically inert. PTFE is known for very low reactivity, which is why it’s a go-to surface for terpene-rich extracts.

- Foldable. PTFE sheets fold and crease easily, which makes them practical for wrapping a portion and dropping it into a jar or envelope.
